Introduction
Your Vixbee Profile Settings can be updated through both your User Dashboard and Public Profile Page. Customize your display name, avatar, and bio to build your professional presence on Vixbee.
Accessing Your Public Profile
- Navigate to your Public Profile via the User Menu (top right corner).
- Your Public Profile Page is where you manage your avatar, cover image, and display name.
Changing Your Avatar and Cover Image
- On the Public Profile Page, you can:
- Change Profile Picture: Click the camera icon next to your avatar.
- Change Cover Image: Click the Change Cover button below your avatar.
- Note: Changes are immediate and visible to everyone.
Updating Your Display Name
- Edit your Display Name directly on the Public Profile Page by clicking the pencil icon.
- Your display name will appear across the platform whenever someone views your profile.
Managing Your Bio
- Edit your Bio from your Public Profile Page to introduce yourself.
- Your bio will be visible to other users on your profile page.
Updating Profile Settings via User Dashboard
- Access your User Dashboard ➔ Settings ➔ Personal Details to manage:
- First Name and Last Name.
- Username (only lowercase letters, numbers, and underscores allowed).
- Email Address and Mobile Number (Contributors cannot change these directly).
- Location Information (address, city, zip code).
Profile Privacy Settings
- Contributors must maintain a public profile for visibility.
- Normal users can set their profile to private via the Settings Page in the User Dashboard.
- Collection Privacy: Users can control whether each collection is private or public, independent of the profile visibility setting.
Quick Reminder
Profile pictures, cover images, and display names can only be edited from the Public Profile Page. Profile privacy can be managed from the Settings Page within the User Dashboard.
