Introduction
To enhance the security of your account, Two-Factor Authentication (2FA) provides an additional layer of protection. It ensures that even if someone has your password, they cannot access your account without a second form of verification.
Accessing 2FA Settings
- Navigate to User Dashboard ➔ Settings ➔ Security tab.
- Scroll to the Two-Factor Authentication (2FA) section.
Setting Up 2FA
Follow these steps to enable Two-Factor Authentication for your account:
- Go to Settings ➔ Security ➔ Two-Factor tab.
- Click Enable 2FA.
- Choose your 2FA method:
- Authenticator App: Scan the provided QR code with your chosen app (e.g., Google Authenticator, Authy).
- SMS Verification: Receive codes via text message.
- Enter the verification code generated by your authenticator app or received via SMS.
- Click Enable 2FA to complete the setup.
Important Notes
- Once 2FA is enabled, you'll need both your password and the 2FA code to log in.
- Ensure that your backup codes are saved securely for future use.
