Introduction

Not seeing your templates or collections in search results? There are several factors that may be affecting your ranking. Here’s what to check and how to fix it.

Common Reasons Your Content Isn't Ranking

  • Low SEO Score: If your contributor score, metadata, or engagement is low, your item may appear far down in search results.
  • No Recent Activity: Inactive contributors lose freshness and may drop in ranking. Upload consistently to stay visible.
  • Poor Metadata: Short or unclear titles, missing descriptions, or too few tags reduce your Metadata Quality Score.
  • Low Engagement: If your content receives few views, likes, or downloads, it may signal low relevance to the system.
  • Paid-Only Content: Free content gets a boost in search. If all your content is premium, you're missing that bonus.
  • Newly Uploaded: New uploads take time to collect engagement. They may appear lower until user interaction builds up.

What to Check

  • Is your content new? Wait a few hours for indexing to complete.
  • Is your title searchable? Use common phrases people would type.
  • Are your tags relevant and complete?
  • Did you upload recently? Content uploaded long ago may have decayed freshness.
  • Have you shared your content publicly? More exposure = more engagement.

How to Improve Ranking

  • Refresh metadata (especially description and tags)
  • Replace or improve your preview image
  • Add a free file to gain a Free Bonus Score
  • Update older content if it's been inactive
  • Continue uploading to improve contributor consistency
Note

New contributors get temporary visibility boosts. If you stop uploading or your SEO score drops, your ranking may decline accordingly.
